Learn
Teaching spaces for screenwriting, acting, film studies and workshops.
Project 04 — 2026 · LEARN — MAKE — EXHIBIT

Organised around the three stages of filmmaking — Learn, Make and Exhibit — this film campus brings teaching, production and public life together. Each function has its own place on the site, and the classrooms, sound stages and festival grounds are tied together by shared spaces and thresholds that carry you from one to the next.
Buildings and open spaces follow one another as a single route, so visitors can watch and take part in every stage of making a film on one continuous journey through the campus.
Three stages
Teaching spaces for screenwriting, acting, film studies and workshops.
Indoor and outdoor sound stages, set and costume workshops, and production spaces.
Festival grounds, an open-air cinema and spaces for exhibitions and events — where finished work meets its audience.
Thresholds
Film and space
The film’s closed, controlled spaces heighten its sense of isolation and uncertainty; corridors, passages and restricted views build the tension. That spatial character shaped a more enclosed, controlled shooting environment in the project.
Here, relationships, encounters and landscape play a central spatial role, and the movement between house, garden and open land creates different social situations. This became the reference for shooting environments that open onto the landscape and invite interaction.
The contrasting spatial characters of the two films led to a varied set of stages. Enclosed, open and semi-open spaces come together as one production system, able to host many atmospheres, scenes and experiences.
